We’re currently working with LA based filmmakers Odera Ozoka and Ashley Ellis on live action film, A Forgotten Place.

Written and directed by Ozoka (Soul Diaspora, Hollywood Street,Ije) and produced by Ellis (For Love, After We Lost Shima) A Forgotten Place is set during the Biafran War, about an Igbo boy’s chance encounter with a wounded Yoruba soldier and subsequent friendship that sets them both on paths through the war torn country in search of their families.
A story of about the endurance of the human spirit, A Forgotten Place depicts the gruesome realities of war but also explores traditional culture and spirituality through fantastical/surreal explorations of the boy’s inner fears and the soldier’s confrontation with death.

Currently in pre-production, the film will bring together an international production team of creatives with recent credits including work on Cary Fukunaga’s award winning Beast’s Of No Nation.
