Limbo has been selected as one of the main works in-competition for IN OUT Festival 2019. The competing films will screened between 27th – 28th April as part of the film festival’s programme at the Lazina Centre of Contemporary Art in Gdańsk, Poland. Running since 2005 The competitive festival showcases shorts, documentaries, experimental and animated films. The festival’s aim is in various ways to analysing the relationship between dance and the image. Each film will be competing for various awards including the top-prize 1st award of PLN 5 000 ( GBP £1000 ) funded by the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk.
LIMBO will also screen at San Francisco Dance Film Festival. Celebrating its tenth anniversary this, this renowned international dance film festival will run with ten days of programming, November 1-10 at multiple venues in San Francisco. A showcase award winning features, documentaries and shorts covering a broad spectrum and highlighting everything in “screendance” from the work of various selected filmmakers, visual artists, animators, composers and live performers.
