Written and Directed by James Kermack (Hi-Lo Joe) the dark comedy thriller centered around a bloody and twisted game of ‘Buck-a-roo’ stars David Schaal (The Office, The Inbetweeners), Nicky Evans (Shameless, Emmerdale) and Geoff Breton (Narcopolis, Diary of Anne Frank).
Run by filmmaker Chris Collier “Short Subjects” aims to champion short films, giving them the recognition they deserve on platforms such as Amazon Prime. The label has a number of critically acclaimed shorts scheduled for release over the next few months in 2017 and early 2018.

Running from 4- 10th February 2017, the Short Film Market also includes conferences and meetings. In addition to the buyers’ presentations, it is a series of events that takes place throughout the week dedicated to professionalising, networking opportunities and the training of work teams. It includes a carefully designed series of targeted industry events and presentations from film buyers and operators detailing their acquisition policies.
