Film Script Read-through Day
VENI VIDI film held its first script read-through workshop day on Saturday 31st Aug at StoneNest in central London, which was a great success.
We had several new TV and film scripts by writers Laura Bacon and James Kermack read and discussed by a brilliant group of actors as part of a new script development lab.
There were two new film screenplays by James Kermack; First off was ‘Hi-Lo Jo‘ a touching romantic comedy drama, looking at the highs and lows of a tender relationship between characters Jo and Elly and ‘Black Eyes, Bite White’ a tense psychological thriller centred on one man’s hunt for a serial killler.
Also TV pilot ‘A Human Condition’ a new series by Laura Bacon, is a hilarious, black comedy looking at lives of several distinct characters and how they deal with the everyday grind and their own ‘sins’.
Thanks again to all the actors involved including: Samantha Bolter, Katie Don-Hughes, Edward Elgood, Andrew MacDonald, Adriana Maestranzi, Steve Miller, Helena Payne, Sean Pogmore, Murray Simon, Madeline Sims-Fewer Scarlett Sweeny, Robbie Telfer and Matthew Wade
We hope to run more of these workshops further on in the autumn, as part of a VENI VIDI film development lab workshop series and will update with more details soon.
